Sarrià de Ter

A little town lapped by the Ter’s water

Sarrià de Ter is located on the north of Girona city. It has only 4,2 km² and more than 5.000 inhabitants.

This little town is lapped by the Ter River and for this reason it has a rich biodiversity, especially regarding  the riparian forest which is of great interest for the birds. You can also find the Xuncla River and the Can Guilana stream.

Visit it to discover its Roman past. The Pla d’Horta Roman settlement is an archaeological site declared as a Good of Cultural National Interest.
