The Parc de les Deveses de Salt is a natural area modeled by the River Ter. It has many riverside woods with intricate wetlands, among which dry meadows grow. The contrast between wetlands and other dry areas results in a very large diversity, with more than 1,000 species of living beings detected. It is an ideal place to stroll or to have a picnic to the famous Pla dels Socs.
Also worthy of mention are the Sèquia Monar, built during the Middle Ages, which led to the construction of textile factories in Salt and the supply of water in the city of Girona.
