The volcano of La Crosa (Aiguaviva, Bescanó, Sant Dalmai) located between Gironès and La Selva. This volcano has the widest crater in the Iberian Peninsula and the largest in Europe (1,250 meters). The highest point is the hermitage of San Lobo (225m). San Llop was transformed as a watchtower, taking advantage of the excellent panoramic view. The volcano of La Crosa is a beautiful landscaped place that was declared Protected Area of Natural Interest, is a quiet and very pleasant area ideal for walking routes.
