The Emili Vilà Museum is located in the Casa Franqueza of Llagostera, a listed building of the nineteenth century and was founded by the same painter Emili Vilà and Gorgoll (1887-1967), includes an extensive sample of his work, as well as that of other famous painters.
The famous artist was well known especially to France for his work as cartelist and portraitist, since he painted illustrious figures such as presidents of republics, ministers, Fernandel, Jean Gablin or Charlie Chaplin.
